4 Week Sewing Series - Working with Knit Fabric
Take this next step series and work on some trickier sewing projects. In this series you will get a chance to tackle working with knit fabric and bump up your skills working on the serger. Over the course of five weeks we will introduce different types of seams and edging techniques specific to knit fabric, discuss the importance of stretch related to your project, installing a separating zipper into knit fabric and more. You should already be familiar with using a sewing machine and following a basic pattern.

By taking this as a series you will get a discount to the overall price of the workshops and a 10% discount on supplies while you are participating in the series.

This series will begin February 27th and will run on Saturday Mornings from 10 am - 2 pm.

Scrapbookers, Yoga and Art Instructors, why not plan your next class or workshop at The Crafter's Studio? For $120, you can reserve space for two hours, or have the studio all day for $400 (based on 8 hour cap). We can clear all the tables, or have them all set up for your use. Children's Parties!
The Crafter's Studio offers workshops for children for special groups, schools and especially for birthday parties! We're not talking the standard "glitter and glue" workshops. We're going to up the creative level because we know that kids want to learn a new craft just like everyone else! Some of the workshops available for parties include Felted "Monsters", Bath Fizzies/Lip Balm, Soap Making, Tote Bags (beginning sewing) and Knitting! 5 Week Jewelry Series - STARTING May20, 2010
In this 5 week series, you'll learn everything from glass bead making to enameling! This is a great series for people that would like to get a taste of different jewelry making skills and mediums. Remember, everything is included in these workshops and, best of all, you'll come home with finished pieces every workshop! Individually taken, these five workshops would be $295, but as a series, it's being offered at just $195!
